While participating in New York, Philadelphia, and Tallinn fashion weeks, Nic worked alongside a range of fashion photographers including Anthony Nocella, one of the senior photographers for Free People, Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie.

With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town South Africa, as well as a MBA from Rider University in New Jersey, Gary has worked in Corporate America for the past 25 years. He has always had a passion for business and most recently ran one of the divisions of a $3.5B publicly traded aerospace company located in Orange County, CA.  His success is attributed to an emphasis on value growth, productivity and new business generation, while inspiring cross functional teams that ensure the highest levels of customer service while meeting company objectives.

Gary has a vision to turn the traditional salon business model upside down to create a team based environment where stylists, staff and clients are treated with the same level of respect and rewarded for the work they do. Gary’s belief is that in order for a salon to be the best place to go to, it should first be the best place to work. His philosophy is simple – You can’t deliver good service from an unhappy or unmotivated team, so you should treat your team the way you want your guests to be treated. Guests will never love a company until the team loves it first, and if you get the culture right, then providing great customer service, building a long-term brand and empowering a passionate team will happen naturally.
